On THANKSGIVING MORNING, NO CHILD HUNGRY and the CATHEDRAL OF ST. LUKE'S partnered to provide a hot breakfast for nearly 250 of Orlando's homeless. Coming in for breakfast not only offered a hot cup of coffee and a hot breakfast, but also a break away from the cold 39 degree temperatures. Thanks to all of our friends who came and to all of the volunteers and donors who made this possible.

Donation Made In Memory of Bob Hudson and Orville Jones
This past year brought the loss of two dear friends who have loved and supported the MNC Team for several years. After living to be 100, Orville could look back at decades of leading mission trips all over the world and around the U.S. On more than half of those trips, you would find Bob, who lived to be 78, working by his side building hospitals, clinics, schools, churches, and homes in developing countries or poor areas within the United States.
Driven by compassionate hearts and a passion to make a difference, these men gave of their lives to impact the lives of others in a meaningful way.
MNC has graciously received a donation in their memory from their families to support the Good Samaritan School in Port Au Prince. Their work continues!
No Child Hungry is the feeding program of My Neighbor's Children. Through "meal packing events", food drives, and financial support, MNC and our partner International Children's Rescue Ministry are able to provide food for children here in the United States and Abroad.
Every six seconds, a child dies from hunger related causes. More than 16,000 children die every day from lack of food and nutrition. Each year, over 5,000,000 children who are five years old or less die because of starvation.
In local communities all over the United States, children don't know where their next meal is coming from. In Central Florida alone, nearly 10,000 children were homeless for an extended period of time last year. Over 200,000 children in Orange County, Florida rely on a school lunch program for weekly meals that often does not provide meals for the weekend or for the summer months. Statistically speaking, every classroom in Centrla Florida has at least one child wo does not know where their next meal will come from.
Through our partnership with Deliver the Difference, No Child Hungry is able to pack specially designed nutritional meals that are certified and regulated by the FDA. There are three types of meals. Two domestic and one international.
These meals contain the nutrition a child needs each day and contain 21 minerals and vitamins along with soy protein and rice.
Fifty people can pack over 10,000 of these meals in less than two hours. The cost of the meals is only $0.30 (30 cents) per meal and also covers most shipping expenses for meals being shipped Internationally.
No Child Hungry will host a "meal-packing event" with your church, group, office, employees, community, family, or team at your location. We provide nearly all of the supplies and can coordinate an event with your schedule. We pack at least 10,000 meals at each event and can host an event that packs up to 1,000,000 (one million) meals at a single event.
To find out how you can hold a meal-packing event email us or call William at 321-436-7767.
Each month we plan "meal-packing events" held in a No Child Hungry facility. If you wish to sponsor an event and provide the supplies, No Child Hungry will provide the volunteers and hold the event.
Want to get your name out there? Become a "title sponsor" for a large meal-packing event. Your name will be listed and promoted as the "title sponsor". You will receive great exposure and join No Child Hungry in the fight against child hunger at the same time.
